Today, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to the Republic of Armenia Merete Yuhl (residence in Kiev) presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.<\/p>\n

The President congratulated the Ambassador on assuming his post and wished every success in his work for the benefit of further development and strengthening of the Armenian-Danish relations.<\/p>\n

The President of Armenia underscored that Armenia attaches importance to the Armenian-Danish relations and cooperation in different areas and is interested in expanding and deepening interstate relations with the Kingdom of Denmark. According to the President it is proved by the opening in 2011 of the Armenian Embassy in Copenhagen.<\/p>\n

Ambassador Merete Yuhl welcomed and stressed the importance of establishing the Embassy of Armenia in Denmark and underlined that it is important for his country as well and clearly signals that Armenia is willing to further relations with Denmark. He assured the President of Armenia that considering the existing great potential, during his tenure he would do his best to promote strengthening and development of bilateral relations.<\/p>\n
