{"id":63227,"date":"2014-01-09T16:08:15","date_gmt":"2014-01-09T12:08:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archive2.ankakh.com\/?p=63227"},"modified":"2014-01-09T16:08:15","modified_gmt":"2014-01-09T12:08:15","slug":"iraqi-kurds-announce-start-of-crude-flow-to-turkey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive2.ankakh.com\/en\/?p=63227","title":{"rendered":"Iraqi Kurds Announce Start of Crude Flow to Turkey"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The authorities in Iraq&#8217;s self-ruled northern Kurdish region say they&#8217;ve unilaterally started exporting crude oil through Turkey despite objections by the central government in Baghdad.<\/p>\n<p>The Kurds&#8217; regional Natural Resources Ministry said in a statement late Wednesday that pumping started in early January.<\/p>\n<p>The oil is being shipped north through a newly constructed pipeline to the Turkish port of Ceyhan, bypassing Baghdad.<\/p>\n<p>The Kurdish ministry has invited companies to participate in a January tender for the 2 million barrels already deposited in Ceyhan.
