During World War II, hundreds of thousands of Armenians fought in the trenches of justice and freedom and came out with credit.<\/p>\n<p>For us, this is first of all a holiday of peace which afforded us a historic opportunity to give the fatherland a new start in life with our honest work.<\/p>\n<p>The destiny gave us one more historic opportunity \u2013 one more May victory. On May 9 of 1992, we were once again in the trenches of justice and freedom fighting against national discrimination and genocide.<\/p>\n<p>With the liberation of Shushi, not only Stepanakert avoided physical annihilation, but also Artsakh, as well as Armenia and Armenians\u2019 future in the broad sense.<\/p>\n<p>Today, we bow with gratitude to the memory of all the brave fighters who paid for peace by their own lives.<\/p>\n<p>Long live the peace \u2013 the mother of all blessings of the world!<br \/>\nGlory to our heroes!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0Dear compatriots, I cordially congratulate you on the occasion of Victory and Peace Day.
