On July 28, 2013 at 17: 25 on the 2803 km of railway line Qarakert-Arteni a freight train collided with cattle. The Rolling stock of 22 cars weighing 1,738 tons drove onto 6 cows. The collision caused a breakdown of the train the repair of which took an hour at Qarakert station.
